Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • This study was conducted on 60 patients of either sex in the age range of 16 to 60 years and belonging to American Society of Anesthesiologists(ASA) grade 1/2\.Prior approval of the Instituteâ??s medical ethics committee was obtained. Informed written consent was taken from all the patients.

Exclusion Criteria

  • The patients with known history of allergy to these drugs, hemodyna\-mically unstable patients and unwilling/uncooperative patients with psychiatric illness were excluded from the study so also patients on drug therapy known to interfere with pharmacokinetics of these anesthetics.
