Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •(a) 18 years or older, (b) Dari\-speaking, help\-seeking Afghan asylumseeker, (c) being on a waiting\-list for trauma\-specific treatment in a specialized facility and (d) positive screening on a screening questionnaire for common mental disorders in refugees: a score of 12 or higher on the RHS\-15 or a score of 5 or higher on the distress thermometer of the RHS\-15\.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Exclusion criteria are: (a) acute suicide risk, (b) presenting with a severe mental disorder (e.g. psychotic disorders, substance dependence) or severe cognitive impairment (e.g. moderate to severe intellectual disability or dementia), based on definitions in the mhGAP Intervention Guide.
