American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status classification I, II, or III.
- Patients aged 20 to 80 who agreed to participate in the study.
- Patients undergoing surgery in Dong-A university hospital.
- Patients with hypersensitivity to Remimazolam and other benzodiazepines.
- Emergency operation.
- Patients with morbid obesity. (BMI >35)
- Patients in the intensive care unit or previously scheduled to be transferred to the intensive care unit after surgery.
- Maternity or lactating club.
- Patients who are unable to communicate and have cognitive impairment.
- Patients whose bispectral index is not adjusted to between 40 and 60 even after 30 minutes from the start of surgery.
- Patient's refusal.
