ASA classification I
normal liver function tests, renal function tests and serum electrolytes

Exclusion Criteria

Preoperative breathlessness on physical exercise.
Any central nervous system disease.
Severe haemodynamic instability at the end of the operation.
Unwilling to participate in the study
