Inclusion Criteria
1) Age >18 years
2) Written informed consent
3) Clinical diagnosis of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease
Exclusion Criteria
1) Participation in a clinical trial for the treatment of NAFLD
2) Existence of additional liver disease other than NAFLD
3) Alcohol consumption >30 g / d in men or >20 g / d in women
4) Language barrier with limited knowledge of German
5) Presence of hepatocellular carcinoma
6) Organ transplant recipient
7) Pregnancy and breastfeeding
8) Liver cirrhosis Child B or Child C
