1) confirmation of hemiplegia arising from stroke, at least 6 months after the stroke incident
2) capable of independently walking a distance of 10 meters without any assistive tools
3) achieving a score of 24 or higher in the Korean Mini-Mental State Examination
4) having the ability to execute a lunge independently, placing the lower limb of the affected side
5) an ankle joint modified Ashworth scale reading between 1 and 2; and 6) stable with vital signs
1) having a medical history involving botulinum injections in the lower extremities
2) medications that may affect balance or gait
3) being susceptible to falling, with a Bug Balance Scale (BBS) score of 20 or below
