入选标准
- •A known case of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, who is on treatment with OHAâ??s or insulin since the past five years, or who has been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus based on criteria given by the American Diabetes Association posted for elective surgery.
排除标准
- •1. Systemic illnesses that also affect the autonomic nervous system including thyroid issues, cardiac, respiratory issues, renal or hepatic impairment, and malignancy.
- •2. Patient is on drugs that affect autonomic function, such as B-blockers, sympathomimetics, vasodilators, diuretics, anti-arrhythmics, etc,
- •3. Patients with underlying cardiac illnesses such as CAD, IHD, RHD, CHF, etc must be excluded as well.
