- •Presenting for cataract surgery at the Royal Melbourne Hospital

- •Non English speaking
- •Axial length greater than 26mm
- •Unable to communicate with patients due to deafness or cognitive defecit
- •Patients on anti-coagulant medication
- •Uncontrolled hypertension >160/100
