- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The Difficulties in Emotional Regulation Scale (DERS) will serve as the primary outcome measure. The 18-item version will be used to assess participant’s levels of emotional regulation. Items are rated on a scale of 1 (almost never”) to 5 (almost always”) with higher scores indicating increased difficulty in emotion regulation.[The DERS will be measured on every day of the baseline (i.e., 5, 9 or 12 days) and follow-up (7 days) as well as 6 times during the iDBT intervention phase (i.e., following each of the 6 iDBT intervention sessions).]
