- •Paresthesia at night
- •Positive Phalen’s test
- •Positive Tinel’s sign
- •Pain in the wrist area

- •Prior surgical treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome
- •Cervical radiculopathy
- •Tendon sheath inflammation
- •Rheumatoid disease
- •Past trauma to the wrist
- •Muscular atrophy of the thenar eminence
