(1) A parent (mother or father) playing major carer role in terms of providing support for various needs (such as financial needs, supervision of medication, medical consultation, emotional support and encouragement etc.).
(2)Face-to-face contact with the patient for, at least 10 hours a week.
(3)The illness duration of the patient whose care the parent is involved in, should be at least one year.
(4)Involved in caregiving for last, at least, 6 months
(5)At least, 10 years of education
(6)Comfortable with the use of technology such as video conferencing facility
(1)A caregiver having an intellectual developmental disability (clinically determined) that impairs their understanding of therapy content
(2)Having any major psychiatric illness (excluding subclinical depression as indicated by BDI score of 12 or less) precluding participation in therapy (e.g. severely depressed, highly aroused)
