Patients who are forensically accommodated or
- patients of the forensic aftercare outpatient clinic
- both patients capable of giving consent and patients not capable of giving consent (for the latter, the consent of the legal guardian is also obtained)
- Main diagnosis F20
- Male gender
- Age: 30 years and older
- Native speaker of German or sufficient language skills to actively participate in the cognitive training program and the neuropsychological examinations
Physical disabilities or illnesses that prevent participation in the study (e.g. bedriddenness, blindness, deafness)

Name Time Method Feasability of the program: the feasibility of the training program in the setting of forensic psychiatry will be evaluated directly after the end of the program by means of qualitative interviews with the study participants as well as the staff of the ward.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method cognitive Performances:<br>The participants' cognitive performance is measured before the start of the program, immediately after completion and six months later. Standardized instruments are used to evaluate global cognition as well as specific executive functions (e.g. flexibility).<br>Mini Mental Status Test (MMST): global cognition, orientation, memory, numeracy, attention, language, visual construction<br>DemTect: Global cognition, verbal short-term and long-term memory, working memory, number conversion/executive functions, verbal fluency/executive functions<br>Frontal Assessment Battery: Inhibition, ability to abstract, susceptibility to interference, verbal fluency<br>Trail Making Test A and B: attention, cognitive processing speed, cognitive flexibility<br>PHQ-D health questionnaire: Affective state (depressive symptoms)<br>
