Patients with end-stage chronic heart failure listed for cardiac transplant, patients with end-stage chronic heart failure prior to implantation of a Left-ventricular-assist-device (LVAD) or patients with LVAD listed for cardiac transplant, who received a clinically indicated Dental-CT-scan.
Patricipants could be male or female (age 18y or older).
All participants have to be capable of giving consent and have to voluntarily agree to participate in the trial.
Non-feasibility of oral examination due to reduced general condition of health, known hepatitis A,B or C, tuberculosis or HIV, know addictive disorders (alcohol), current pregnancy.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The primary outcome is the detection of dental or oral findings requiring treatment.<br>After completion of diagnostic testing (dental-CT, clinical dental examination incl. OPG or targeted X-ray of specific teeth), the primary outcome is evaluated as consensus of clinical examination and imaging results.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Caries (requiring treatment), mild or moderate periodontal disease, periodontal inflamed surface area and periodontal state in general, mon-odontogenic diseases (e.g. sinusitis) and other relevant findings. <br>Evaluability of degree of success of root canal treatment, questionnaire for periodontal disease.<br>
