Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients with end\-stage chronic heart failure listed for cardiac transplant, patients with end\-stage chronic heart failure prior to implantation of a Left\-ventricular\-assist\-device (LVAD) or patients with LVAD listed for cardiac transplant, who received a clinically indicated Dental\-CT\-scan.
- •Patricipants could be male or female (age 18y or older).
- •All participants have to be capable of giving consent and have to voluntarily agree to participate in the trial.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Non\-feasibility of oral examination due to reduced general condition of health, known hepatitis A,B or C, tuberculosis or HIV, know addictive disorders (alcohol), current pregnancy.
