1) All patients aged between 18 to 60 years diagnosed as bronchial asthma based on GINA guidelines 2022, who attend the OPD of Department of Respiratory Medicine, KMC ,Manipal.
2) The patient should be on treatment for asthma for more than one month.
3) The study subject should be on controller and reliever medications.
1) Obstructive sleep apnea.
2) Chronic comorbidities like decompensated liver disease, chronic renal failure, uncontrolled diabetes, hypertension and cardiovascular diseases.
3) BMI > 30 kg/m2
4) Pregnancy
5) Malignancy
6) Smoker (ex-smoker, current smoker and reformed smoker)
7) Musculoskeletal disorders
8) Connective tissue disorders
9) Psychiatric and seizure disorder
10) CVA with motor deficit
11) Age <18 and >60 years
12) Refuse to consent

Name Time Method To assess and categorize patients with asthma into well controlled, partly controlled and poorly controlled groups <br/ ><br>To measure the degree of physical activity in each group of asthmatics <br/ ><br>To measure the degree of sleep disturbance in each group of asthmatics <br/ ><br>To determine the association between physical activity and sleep disturbance in each group of asthmaticsTimepoint: The categorization of patients,assessment of sleep disturbance and physical activity will be done at baseline evaluation. There will be no follow up of the patient.
