- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The ratio of signal intensities in the interoceptive and exteroceptive attention will be investigated by combined fMRI-MRS study at two different time points.
The second measurement is 8-12 weeks after the first one. The concentration of GABA and glutamate (i. a. in the auditory cortex) is examined at two different Measurement points. The second investigation of the biochemical metabolism takes place after 8-12 weeks.
Crucial are significant differences between the schizophrenic group and the healthy subjects group as well as the proportion of patients in which these parameters have significantly improved in the meantime.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Ego-psychopathology, clinical symptoms, interpersonal problems and personality organization are measured with psychological (self assessment) test procedure: the SCL 90 (symptom checklist), the IPP (Ego-psychopathology), the IPO (personality organisation), the Questionnaire of psychosis typical structures of Dührsen and Happach, the Questionnaire for self-perception, the BPI (borderline inventory), and the IIP (Interpersonal problems) before and after a psychodynamically oriented psychotherapy. Crucial is the proportion of patients with significant clinically improvements (i.e. achieving outpatient status).
