1. Patients with closed intra-articular distal end of radius fracture.
2. Patients aged 18 and above
3. Patients of either gender
4. Patients medically fit for surgery
5. Patients being managed with internal fixation
6. Patient willing to participate in the study with voluntarily given consent
1. Fractures which can be managed conservatively
2. Fractures which can be managed by k-wire fixation
3. Infections
4. Mentally-physically unfit and medical conditions that could pose a life threatening surgical or anaesthetic risk
5. Old fractures of the distal end of radius
6. Patients not willing for surgery
7. Patients medically unfit for surgery
