Inclusion Criteria

Normal response on vitalite test
Absence of clinical signs and symptoms of periapical pathology
The presence of teeth in the proximal contact of the restoration
Teeth being in occlusion to antagonistic teet
Patients who agreed to attend regular checks

Exclusion Criteria

Non-vital teeth
Unacceptable standard of oral hygiene or parafunctional habits
Teeth with only initial defects or that did not require at least one cuspal coverage
Teeth subjected to direct pulp-capping
Severe periodontal problems
