•Patients with first hemispheric intra-cerebral infarction or hematoma of both genders
•Age 35â??65 years
•Ability to stand without support
•Patients having Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE)score >25
•Patients with visual problems,
•Patients with orthopaedic disorders or neurological impairments other than stroke that could influence the postural control.
•Patients who on admission already walked safely
•Patients with concomitant cognitive or psychiatric problems that impaired their ability to follow simple verbal instructions.
