1) a patient between ages of 18 and 85
2) Patients schelduled for surgery with pancreatobiliary disease and liver cancer (HCC, CCC, and metastatic liver cancer)
3) Karnofsky Performance status = 70
4) Patients who provide informed consent
Exclusions for patients with any of the following creteria
1) Patients who underwent palliative surgery
2) Patients with uncontrolled preoperative conditions
3) Previous history of surgery affecting nutritional status (ex, gastrectomy, colectomy, etc)
4) Pregnant and lactating women
5) Patients with an allergy to mealworms
6) Patients with a hematological abnormalty
- Total bilirubin > 1.5 X upper normal limit
- ALT, AST > 2.5 X upper normal limit
- ALP > 2.5 X upper normal limit
