入排标准
入选标准
- •Adult patients of ASA grade 1 and 2 status undergoing pulmonary lobectomy or pneumonectomy by open technique
排除标准
- •Patients undergoing non-anatomical lung resections like wedge resections or metastatectomies
- •Patients who have received neoadjuvant radiotherapy to the lung
- •Unreliable for medium term follow-up
- •Patients with permanent tracheostomies
- •Patients with oro-facial anomalies (unable to perform spirometry)
- •Lower limb amputations / abnormalities (e.g. arthritis) - unable to perform 6 minute walk test
- •Thoracoscopic resections
- •Patients undergoing repeat surgeries of the thorax or lower limb before the 3 month follow up (e.g. re-exploration, metastatectomy)
