Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •all patients posted for mitral valve surgery
Exclusion Criteria
- •a. History of symptomatic cerebrovascular disease with residual deficit,
- •b. History of psychiatric illness (any clinical diagnoses requiring therapy)
- •c. Significant hepatic insufficiency (liver function tests \>1\.5times the upper limit of normal),
- •d. Significant renal insufficiency (creatinine levels \>2 mg/dl)
- •e. Patients with primary pulmonary disease will be excluded by history, physical examination and radiological investigation
- •f. Patients with musculoskeletal involvement of the chest and thoracic spine were not taken.
- •g. Patient refusal
