- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The main aims of this study is to find the incidence of cardiovascular diseases in a group with patients exposed to coal and crystalline silica, and to correlate the risk of cardiovascular diseases with different factors and with the consumption of phytocompounds.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method There are many phytocompound that are very important to an alternative treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Extracts of ginger and hot chilli pepper have been chosen by our team to be encapsulated inside a polyurethane carrier and the products were evaluated by physical and chemical procedures, in vivo and in vitro tests.
