Inclusion Criteria

1.Patients willing to participate in the study.

2.Patients irrespective of sex, religion, occupation will be selected for study with age between 18-70 years.

3.Patients having sign and symptoms of Grahani Dosha and who are diagnosed with IBS according to standard ROME IIIrd criteria.

4.Previously diagnosed case of IBS

Exclusion Criteria

1.Patients not willing to participate in the study.

2.Patients of either sex below 18 years & above 70 years will be excluded from the study.

3.Ulcerative colitis, Crohnâ??s disease, gastric ulcerations and other inflammatory bowel

conditions, Parasitic infestation

4.Amoebic dysentery, acute diarrhoea, bleeding per rectum

5.Patients on prolonged medication with NSAIDs, analgesics or any other drugs that may have an influence on the outcome of the study

6.Alcoholic and/or drug abusers.

7.History of hypersensitivity to the trail drugs or any of its ingredients.

8.Pregnant /lactating woman.

9.Patients who have completed participation in any other clinical trial during the past 6 months.

10.Patents with diabetes mellitus, poorly controlled hypertension, Thyroid disorders and any other autoimmune disorders
