Primary Endpoint
- The interventional package will improve the knowledge, make a positive change in their health and improves their quality of life and improves practice, reduces acne,hirsuitism and maintain BMI to normal.

Study Overview

Brief Summary

With increasing numbers of PCOS at younger age there is an increased risk for long‑term and/or late effects on the health, so efforts for promoting the healthy lifestyle of this group are urgently needed.

So the researcher felt to implement the lifestyle modification package among young adult girls. This will provide valuable interventions relating to the development of healthy lifestyle for PCOS and result in appropriate change in knowledge on Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, life style, practice, physical symptoms and improve the quality of life.

Inclusion Criteria

  • Girls who are at risk of developing PCOS.
  • Girls who are young adults aged between 18 to 22 years and studying in selected degree colleges.
  • Girls who are willing to participate.
  • Girls who are available at the time of data collection.
  • Girls who are able to read and understand English.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Girls who are not interested.
  • Girls who are already exposed to an interventional programme.

Outcomes

Primary Outcomes

- The interventional package will improve the knowledge, make a positive change in their health and improves their quality of life and improves practice, reduces acne,hirsuitism and maintain BMI to normal.
