Inclusion Criteria
Patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery and requiring central venous cathter insertion.
Patients of either sex.
Patients up to 12 years of age.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with altered coagulation profile, arrhythmias.
Patients with pacemaker in situ, neck burn contracture, and cervical spine injury.
Patients with neck swelling and gross deformity of chest .
Patients with extracardiac vascular abnormality.
