Exclusion Criteria

  • •\- Patient\*s refusal
  • •\- Pre\-existing neurological or psychiatric illnesses
  • •\- Chronic pain syndromes
  • •\- Alcohol or drug abuse
  • •\- Suspected possibility of delirium
  • •\- Difficulties in communication
  • •\- Rheumatoid arthritis
  • •\- Revision knee surgery or participation in another study
  • •\- Pre\-surgicaloperative ASA score \>3
