Brief Summary

Ropivacaine and levobupivacaine both are newer local anaesthetics with less motor blockade and more efficacious when compared to other local anaesthetics .primary objective is to compare the efficacy of ropivacaine 0.5% isobaric versus levobupivacaine 0.5% isobaric in terms degree of motor blockade as measured by modified bromage scale and sensory block by loss of pinprick sensation

Inclusion Criteria

pregnanat women of ae 20 to 40 years ASA grade i and ii gestational age more than 37 weeks.

Exclusion Criteria

high risk pregnant women kyphosis scoliosis patients allergic to any drugs local site lumbar area infection patients with any systemic diseases.
