Inclusion Criteria
age = 18 years, = 12 natural teeth, periodontal diagnose: severe chronic or aggressive Periodontitis, informed and written consent, mobility degree II or III of at least on mandibular incisor combined with = 5 mm attachment loss at the same tooth
Exclusion Criteria
no written and informed consent, cross-bites, bruxism, implants within the regio of the lower incisors, younger than 18 years old, active periodontal therapy within the last two years, = 12 natural teeth

Name Time Method 1. periodontal stability (attachmentlost and alveolar bone loss over time); method: periodontal probing and x-rays (both according to the routine examinations of systematic periodontal therapy)<br>2. fracture of the splint (months until the first fracture)
