入选标准
- •Consecutive children aged 1 year to 5 years
- •without clinical anaemia, attending our pediatrics outpatient
排除标准
- •1. Receiving treatment for Anaemia
- •2. Received blood transfusion in the last 6 months
- •3. Clinical features suggestive of haemoglobinopathies / hemolytic
- •anemia/ bleeding disorders including thrombocytopenia
- •4. Children with undernutrition (weight for stature < 3 rd percentile in
- •5. History and/or clinical examination suggestive of ongoing
- •infection/ inflammatory disease (currently or within a month)
- •6. Children on long term steroids / Immunosuppressives
- •7. Chronic organic or metabolic disease (congenital heart disease,
- •liver disease, interstitial lung disease, immunodeficiency states,
- •cognitive dysfunction)
