Inclusion Criteria
Orthodontic patients presenting with maxillary or bimaxillary protrusion, requiring dentoalveolar camouflage with extraction of maxillary first premolars, a full complement of teeth (excluding third molars), and good oral hygiene without active caries or periodontal disease.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients advised orthopaedic or surgical correction.A previous history of orthodontic treatment and any restorations extending to the mesial or distal surfaces of posterior teeth.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method maxillary first molar anchorage loss, measured radiographically as the mesial movement of the tip of the mesiobuccal cusp.Timepoint: Pre and post treatment changes.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Mesial movement of the first molarâ??s mesial root apex, the mesial tip of the first molar, as well as the retraction of the maxillary central incisor at its incisal edge, apex, and the incisorâ??s distal tip. Additionally, the extrusion of the maxillary first molar and the maxillary central incisor were measured.Timepoint: Pre and post treatment changes.
