简要总结
Airway management is critical in anaesthesia and emergencies, where accurate identification of the cricothyroid membrane (CTM) is vital for life-saving procedures. This study aims to evaluate the correlation between patient weight and CTM depth using ultrasound in adults, to improve the safety and accuracy of airway access, especially in obese or anatomically challenging patients.

结局指标
主要结局
To correlate patient weight with depth of cricothyroid membrane using ultrasound in adults
时间窗: At baseline
次要结局
- Correlation of the effect of other anthropometric parameters (age, gender, height & body mass index) of the patient with depth of cricothyroid membrane in adult patients as measured using ultrasound.
- Correlation of the effect of neck parameters (neck circumference, thyromental distance, ratio of neck circumference to thyromental distance) of the patient with depth of cricothyroid membrane in adult patients as measured using ultrasound.(At baseline)
