Patients requiring extraction of impacted lower third molars with moderate Pederson difficulty index and normal coagulation profile and ASA-I.
1. Medically compromised patients.
2. Patients with chronic pain, neurological or psychiatric disorder.
3. Patients with severe periodontal disease.
4. Patients unwilling to be a part of this study.
5. Patients who have known allergies to the drugs or anaesthetics to be used during the procedures.
6. Patients who are pregnant or lactating.
7. Patients on analgesics in the preceding 2 weeks.
8. Chronic smokers.
9. Patients with history of consumption of bisphosphonates.
10. Patients with family history of photosensitivity.
