Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Severe nicotine use disorder as per the Fagerström Test for Nicotine Dependence (score \>6\); at least mild craving scores in the Questionnaire of Smoking Urges\-Brief (\>27\); not presently seeking treatment for smoking; at least 18 years old; right handed, completed high school.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Severe substance use disorder as screened by the ASSIST tool; diagnosis or high risk of diagnosis of psychiatric disorder according to screening tools and clinical interview; presently taking bupropione, nortriptiline or varenicline; history of brain lesions; history of epilepsy, neurosurgical procedures or cardiac pace maker; pregnant women or high risk of pregnancy.
