Inclusion Criteria
Healthy patients; both genders; from 18 to 65 years old; indication of bilateral extraction of lower third molars; in accordance with the signing of the Free and Informed Consent Form; attended at the clinics of the Dentistry Course at the University of Passo Fundo and/or at the Centro de Estudos Odontológico Meridional
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with serious comorbidities; users of alcohol, tobacco and/or illicit drugs; diseases or medications that affect bone metabolism; serial unilateral extractions; teeth with endodontic lesions,
deep caries, periodontitis or recurrent pericoronitis
