Inclusion Criteria
Subjects with open abdominal surgery
40 bpm < heart rate <130 bpm
90 mmhg < systolic arterial pressure < 200 mmhg
5 bpm < RR < 24 bpm
SpO2 > 90 %
Surgery under GA
Subjects with pre-operative ambulation - who are independent
Willingness to participate
Sufficient level of consciousness that allowed correct understanding and execution of commands
Exclusion Criteria
Emergency open abdominal surgery
Any neurological or CVS conditions
Past history of pulmonary disease
Hemodynamic instability
Severe pain ( >8 on VAS)
