Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
To determine whether ultrasonography of the Subclavian vein will predict hypotension following induction of general anaesthesia in patients for elective surgery.Timepoint: Ultrasound will be done 10-15 Mins prior to induction.

Post induction BP measurements will be made every one minute for 10 mins.
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Subclavian vein collapsibility is indicative of fluid status of the patient.

Timepoint: Subclavian vein collapsibility will be measured 10-15 mins prior to induction.
