Inclusion Criteria
- •Children aged between 12 to 60 months
- •American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I or II
- •undergoing scheduled elective unilateral inguinal hernia repair
Exclusion Criteria
- •previous inguinal surgery
- •history of clinically significant cardiac, hepatic, renal, or neurological dysfunction
- •coagulopathy
- •known allergy to amide local anesthetics
