Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. ASA grade 1 and 2
- •2\. BMI 18\-30 kg/sq metre.
- •3\. Patient of either sex scheduled to undergo
- •elective surgery requiring general anaesthesia.
- •4\. Duration of Surgery: upto 120 minutes.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patient refusal
- •2\. Neuropsychiatric disorder or on chronic use of psychoactive medications.
- •3\. Renal dysfunction.
- •4\. Known or suspected EEG abnormalities\-Epilepsy,previous brain surgery.
- •5\. ASA Grade 3 and 4
- •6\. Obesity (BMI \>30\)
- •7\. Pregnant and lactating females.
- •8\. History of alcohol and drug abuse.
