简要总结

This study will be conducted to find the association of quadriceps angle Patellar mobility and functional outcomes in individual with Patelofemoral pain syndrome A cross sectional study among 223 adult whose age  ranges from 21 to 35 year. Participants will be screened for inclusion and exclusion criteria . Primary outcome and secondary outcome measures will be assessed and analysed by using SPSS software version 20.

入选标准

  • Pain in 1 or both knees Duration of signs and symptoms greater than 4 weeks History of insidious onset of pain without any trauma Pain in the patellar region with at least 3 of the following manual compression of the patella against the femur at rest or during an isometric knee extensor contraction and palpation of the postero-medial and postero-lateral borders of the patella resisted isometric quadriceps femoris muscle contraction, squatting, stair climbing kneeling or prolonged sitting.

排除标准

  • Knee surgery over the past 2 years Malignancy Systemic arthritis Musculoskeletal or neurologic lower extremity involvement that intern affecting functional activity Pregnancy Trauma Ligament injuries in past 2 years Psychologically unstable.

时间窗: Baseline data collection in 20 min | One time analysis

次要结局

  • Anterior knee pain scale (AKPS)(Baseline data in 10 min)
  • Dynamic MRI/single leg squat - patelar mobility(Baseline data in 20 min)
