1 Occurrence of first, ischemic or hemorrhagic, supratentorial stroke with focal motor deficits
2 Premorbid Modified Rankin Scale is less than 3
1 Presence of global aphasia
2 Major unstable co-morbidity, including medical and neuropsychiatric co morbidity (e.g. delirium, depression, recent myocardial infarction, unstable angina etc)
3 Past or current history of major neuropsychiatric illnesses e.g., Alzheimerâ??s disease, Parkinsonâ??s disease, Epilepsy, Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, Major Depressive Disorder
3 Current or recent (less than 3 months) use of psychotropic medication such as antidepressants, antipsychotics and anticonvulsant drugs for more than 7 consecutive dayy. Anxiolytic and hypnotic medications are however permitted.
4 Inability to perform study procedures because of uncorrected visual impairment or uncorrected hearing impairment.
5 Presence of cerebral or cardiovascular implants.
6 Electroconvulsive therapy, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation, or any other brain stimulation therapy in the last six months
