Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Physically healthy subjects, evaluated by medical history, physical examination and screening laboratory tests
  • Experiences hallucinations with a frequency of at least once a week.
  • Total SPQ score lower than 25
  • No diagnosis on axis I or II based on DSM \-IV criteria, confirmed by the CASH and the SCID II interview.
  • Age between 18\-60

Exclusion Criteria

  • Use of psychotropic medication within four weeks before the scanning
  • Drug or alcohol\-abuse over a period of three weeks prior to the experiment. More then 15 cigarettes and more then 6 cups of caffeine containing coffee, cola or tea.
  • A history of neurological illness or other medical problems potentially having central nervous system sequellae.
  • Pregnancy, breast feeding and use of inadequate anti\-conception.
  • Use of other medication potentially influencing cerebral blood flow.
  • Claustrophobia
  • Exposure to radioactivity leading to yearly cumulative dose of 10 mSv or more
  • Metal objects in or around the body (braces, pacemaker, metal fragments);
  • Exposure to radioactivity leading to a yearly cumulative dose of 10 mSv or more.
