Men and women in the age range of 18-65 years.
- Patients with upper extremity casts, rhizarthrosis, carpal tunnel, or severe hand injuries (such as traumatic amputations of one or more fingers or thumb, open fractures of the hand and wrist, nerve and vision injuries)
- Neurological comorbidities that affect cognitive abilities or neuromuscular control of the upper extremities (such as Parkinson's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Huntington's disease, brachial plexus avulsion)
- Patients who are prone to dizziness and motion sickness in a VR setting
- Patients already participating in a similar rehabilitative study
- Unable to give informed consent due to impaired cognitive abilities
