Inclusion Criteria
People aged 60 and over; both sexes; seniors who possessed a position to understand simple verbal order; elderly and / or guardians who agreed to participate
Exclusion Criteria
Seniors unable to take exercise; elderly without cognitive ability, that prevented the understanding and implementation of the proposed exercises; elderly victims of hospitalization during the period designated for intervention

Name Time Method Physical exercise reduces the risk of falls in institutionalized elderly determined by the Timed Up and Go Test test and Berg Balance Scale at baseline and end of study;The results showed a significant improvement in the balance of elderly submitted to intervention, and consequently reducing the risk of falls
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Improvement of certain anthropometric measurements by height, body weight and waist circumference at baseline and end of study, as well as improvement in muscle strength of the lower limbs determined using the test Lift Chair at the beginning of study and at the end of the study and improvement in strength of the upper limbs determined by the test Gripping force Manual at baseline and end of study;The results showed a significant improvement in anthropometric measurements, muscle strength in the lower limbs and muscle strength in the upper limbs of elderly submitted to intervention
