Chronic knee pain patients having VNRS more than 5 , KL grading of 2 or more not responding to treatment modalities like physiotherapy, oral analgesics and intra-articular injection with hyaluronic acid or steroids for more than 3 months.
Patients age less than 18 years and more than 80 years,acute knee pain, prior knee surgery, connective tissue disorders, neurological or. psychiatric disorders, knee injection with steroid or hyaluronic acid within three months, sciatic pain, on anticoagulant medication, pacemakers and prior eletroacupuncture treatment
