Inclusion Criteria

Age 40-70 years, cartilage damage II-III according to Kellgren & Lawrence, intensity of arthritis >10 scorepoints according to Lequesne
pain intensitiy VAS Scale > 40 mm, Patient can understand the Project and gives informed consent

Exclusion Criteria

Other gait disturbances, acute joint effusion, other joint disorders except concomittant disorders of arthritis e.g. meniscus disorder, contraindication for brace (Skin disorder, infection, Diabetes), use of other brace
