入选标准
- •6 to 16 yrs.
- •ASA physical status I and II
- •either sex undergoing surgeries
- •supine position under general anesthesia lasting for more than one hour.
排除标准
- •Patients with Mallampati class > 2
- •pre-operative sore throat, upper respiratory tract infection, allergy to study drug
- •recent history of NSAID medications asthmatics
- •those who require more than two attempts at intubation
- •surgeries requiring nasogastric tube and throat pack insertion
- •duration of surgery >3 hrs.
- •surgeries in lateral and prone position
