入选标准
- •1. patients belonging to ASA status 1 and 2
- •2. Duration of surgery between 1 to 3 hours
排除标准
- •1. Refusal to give consent
- •2. Allergy to local anaesthetics
- •3.Pregnancy
- •4. More than 2 attempts of intubation
- •5. Use of nasogastric tube and throat pack
- •6.Recent URTI, chronic cough, COPD,oral cavity surgery, spine surgery and thyroid surgery
- •7. patients with difficult airway and prone positioning
- •8.patients requiring elective post operative mechanical ventilation
- •9. Emergency surgeries
