A randomized control trail to find the EFFECT OF COLON HYDRO THERAPY ON GUT FLORA AMONG OVERWEIGHT AND OBESE INDIVIDUALS on Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes ratio and to test the hypothesis of thecolon hydrotherapy measured by the mean difference in Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes ratio among overweight and obese patients.
| Colon hydrotherapy are administered to research participants. Patients must stay in a supine posture for the duration of the intervention. The colon hydrotherapy, which is given at temperature of 31°C, while the maximum allowable temperature is 39°C, after 3 days of naturopathy based eliminative diet. After 45 minutes, the colon hydrotherapy was removed. |

- •BMI ranging from 25.0 kg/m2 and 39.99 kg/m2 Participants without any previous exposure to Colon hydrotherapy in recent 6 months.
排除标准
- •Unknown source of hemoptysis [since forced expiration may make the underlying problem worse].
- •Pneumothorax Unstable cardiovascular state, recent myocardial infarction, or pulmonary embolism, since forceful expiratory maneuvers might exacerbate angina or alter blood pressure.
- •Aneurysms in the thorax, abdomen, or brain that run the risk of rupturing due to elevated thoracic pressure.
- •Recent surgery of the thorax or abdomen.
- •Presence of acute disease process that might interfere with the test performance [e.g. nausea, vomiting].
