Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Undergoing cardiac MRI for ischaemic heart disease, dilated cardiomyopathy and/or
  • •hypertrophic cardiomyopathy \& willing to undergo echo STE after completion of
  • •Willing to provide written informed consent

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Patients presenting with any of the following conditions will be excluded
  • •1\. Sustained arrhythmias
  • •2\. Pacemaker rhythm
  • •3\. Bad echo windows
  • •4\. More than mild pericardial effusion \& any associated pericardial disease
  • •5\. More than mild to moderate AR, PR
  • •6\. Severe TR
  • •7\. Congenital heart disease
  • •8\. Right heart disease
  • •9\. Unstable patients
